About Alexandra

We are thrilled to welcome Alexandra to the Separy Law P.C. team in her new role as Associate Lawyer. Alexandra completed her articling term with our firm and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Osgoode Hall Law School. Before law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Alexandra’s practice focuses on all areas of family law, including but not limited to, separation, divorce, parenting (custody), parenting plans (access to children), child support, spousal support, variations in existing court orders and/or agreements, and resolving issues related to complex property division. Alexandra works patiently to negotiate Toronto cohabitation agreements (prenuptial agreements), Toronto marriage agreements (postnuptial agreements, and Toronto separation agreements. Alexandra has had significant experience and training in all of these areas and court advocacy of family law during her articling year at Separy Law PC.

During her time at Osgoode, Alexandra took part in many of the practical learning opportunities available to her. In her first year, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada where she worked with Womenatthecentre and contributed to the creation of legal resources on alternative pathways to justice for survivors of sexual assault and anti-human trafficking laws in Canada. This work was aimed at distributing legal information and resources to individuals across Ontario.  In her second year, Alexandra took part in the Clinical Program at Osgoode, where she worked at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic once a week. While at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, she aided in the provision of free legal services to individuals who were victims of domestic abuse and gender-based violence. Her work at the Clinic was focused in the areas of Family Law, Immigration Law, and Criminal Law.  Alexandra spent the summer after her second year of law school working at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, with a particular focus on working with clients charged with criminal offences who needed assistance navigating the Family Law Court system.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time exploring new neighbourhoods in Toronto, trying new baking recipes, and reading novels.
