About Olivia

Olivia completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto. Prior to attending law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Biology from the University of Ottawa and gained professional experience working in the environmental industry. Olivia articled with Separy Law P.C. before joining the firm as an Associate Lawyer. She practices primarily in family law as a Toronto Family Lawyer and also assists clients with wills and estate planning matters.

During law school Olivia spent two years at Downtown Legal Services (“DLS”), where she was a student caseworker and division leader in the family law division. At DLS she represented clients in family court proceedings at the Ontario Court of Justice and developed a reference database for new student caseworkers. She also represented U of T at the Walsh Family Law Moot Competition.

Olivia’s practice focuses on all areas of family law, including but not limited to, separation, divorce, parenting (custody), parenting plans (access to children), child support, spousal support, variations in existing court orders and/or agreements, and resolving issues related to property division. Olivia takes a practical and resolution-focused approach to family law matters. She assists clients in negotiating and preparing Toronto cohabitation agreements (prenuptial agreements), Toronto marriage agreements (postnuptial agreements), and Toronto separation agreements, with a focus on reaching clear and workable resolutions.

Olivia represents clients in family law matters involving  sensitive circumstances, including allegations of domestic violence, emotional abuse, financial abuse, and other forms of family violence. As a Toronto Family Lawyer, she appears before the courts in Toronto and throughout the Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”).
